Logan Gilbert, Brock Stewart, Griffin Jax, and Adrian Morejon follow Hader in the top five. 2023 xwFIP king Felix Bautista has come back strong from elbow surgery that cost him all of last year, with an elite xwFIP of 3.17.
Who are the top starters in baseball?

Gilbert is joined by Cole Ragans, Tarik Skubal, Zack Wheeler, and Ranger Suarez in the top five starters in baseball. Ragans’ elevated 5.18 ERA, compared to his 2.65 xwFIP, points to a combination of bad defense behind him and bad luck.
The Yankees have four starters in the top 30 and the Phillies have three.
